Josh Henderson of Skillet has done it again – created a diner that’s urban yet tastes like mom’s, accented by great seating. This time in Ballard.

We went to brunch during the soft opening, today. The shoe box-shaped space it’s in was really transformed for the better by a slightly concave wall that runs the length of the space. It’s complimented by curved bar and these sweet swivel bar stools.

Only thing lacking was a footrest bar. I saw a lot of feet awkwardly angled at 45 degrees, looking for a perch.
