A classic. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller and available at DWR. Generally, all newer models have five feet. I love this four-banger used by Janof Hald Architecture.

From DWR’s site:

These chairs were originally developed as a special project for a private residence being designed by Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard. Moving away from the Eameses’ shell forms of the 1940s, the designers combined a newly affordable aluminum frame with a sling seat that subtly conforms to the body’s shape.

Compare to the aluminum Eames tandem sling seating found in most Airports. The tandems lack the bar across front seat edge and shoulder edge, making them a true sling. Not enough support for desk work.
