Hard to imagine this green was any more radioactive looking when this chair was produced in the mid-70s. But what a cool chair! If it weren’t for the color, I would have easily missed this one in the middle of the Goodwill lineup.

The structure is probably borrowed form the better-known Emeco Navy Chair–at least the butterfly arms. It’s bulletproof. Unfortunately, the padding is no more comfortable than the steel. The backrest is too high, and you have to really push your elbows down on the rigid, narrow armrests to sit upright. But for $10 you could do worse.
